Troubleshooting

Protocol isn't in the controls list

Update Protocol from the App Store and open it once, then try again. Controls need iOS 18 or later.

It opens Protocol but doesn't listen

Protocol needs microphone and speech recognition access the first time. Allow both when asked, or turn them on in Settings, Protocol.

No Action button?

Only iPhone 15 Pro and newer have one. Use Control Center or the Lock Screen instead, or say “Log a workout in Protocol” to Siri.

Want something to look at, too?

Widgets show your rings, brief and Train week on the Home Screen. Add Protocol widgets.
